This hands on, no pressure class is perfect for first time shooters who want to learn how to safely handle a handgun-without using live ammunition.  Using inert training pistols and laser-based SIRT pistols, students will learn the basics of firearms safety, proper handling, and essential shooting fundamentals in a safe, controlled environment.  No prior experience or equipment needed!

 The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is a great way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! 

The course may be used for you to obtain the certification for your concealed carry permit in some states. Be sure to contact your county, city, or state to find out whether this course fulfills the requirement.

 This course is a one-day course that goes over both concealed carry and home defense options, we start with the universal safety rules, defensive shooting, home defense plans, concealed carry, the legal use of force, the aftermath, guns, gear, and gadgets. Textbook Included in Course.

This course takes off where Women’s Pistol 1 leaves you. Introduction to movement, positional shooting stances, controlled pairs, a true women’s defensive course.

 This course starts off where concealed carry and our home defense courses end. You will learn about action/reaction times, we go over scenario training, defensive shooting techniques, critical thinking drills as well and concealed carry gear use.  This course continues where Off the X leaves us. In this course, you get to utilize everything we learned in “Get off the X”, utilizing multiple targets, transitioning from left to right-handed shooting, using cover/concealment, critical thinking drills, one-handed shooting drills, etc 350 rounds required.
