Wear and Carry Permit training is 16 hours of instruction for an original application and 8 hours of instruction for a renewal application. The training will include instruction on Maryland state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.
You will be required to upload a completed and signed MSP 29-14 Certified Qualification Score Sheet to the documents section of the Wear and Carry Permit Application in the Licensing Portal.
This is a 2-day course.

Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons training is 16 hours of instruction for an application the training will include instruction on Delaware state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and fire a minimum of 100 rounds for a minimum score of 80% accuracy.
A Delaware resident desiring to carry a concealed deadly weapon in this state must have a Delaware license to do so. A Delaware resident is someone who carries or is required to have a Delaware driver’s license and/or is registered to vote in Delaware.
